They deleted the Instagram post about the reason Jay was fired.

All joking aside, I am-stricly by happenstance-only familiar with Jordison's work with this band.

So that's Craig and Jay gone this year. Based on the statement it definitely sounds like it was the band's decision, not Jay's.

Yay, Jay issued a real classy and sentimental statement. Slipknot is creatively done anyways but it's a pity the way he was handled.

It must be poetic justice, Jay did the exact same thing in reverse when he was playing for Jane's addiction.
