It's been a long time since I've used the forums, so I apologize if I'm doing this wrong, but I can't seem to find many progressive death metal bands that both play fast and technical like Obscura and Spawn Of Possession and use deeper styles of death growls primarily. Long, epic songs are a huge plus too.

The Xenocide album is pretty solid, though it gets a bit too deathcore for me a few times. I have yet to give HB a listen, though I've heard good things of them, and I adore Lascailles Shroud.

EDIT: I just discovered the band Aeon Of Horus and they're fucking amazing!

Not sure I understand what you mean by deeper growls. Deeper than what? Is Soreption using deeper growls?

Both are great, I mean deep as in death growls like what Suffocation and most old school DM bands did opposed to high screams that are common in melodeath and core music. I just seem to find a lot more of those vocalists when you get into actual prog death.
